I tried and failed
Wailed and railed
Wheeled my knot
Seeing my bait had caught naught
Body to ground
Mercy I sought
Homage to the needful I paid
That my love in my lady's heart be laid
But here I stand
Bait in hand
Short of catch
Yet pocket stocked with cash.
Heaving a sigh,
In soliloquy the heart's longing with words I dye
In query saying;
When will I the hearts longing buy?
Oh!
When will I my fish in pan fry?
(Dedicated to unrequited lovers)
