MY IDENTITY

I knew I sat, crawled and finally I did walked
Uttermost was my first speech which gladdened my parents
I discovered everybody calls me something
To the magnification of my brain I answered like the passing of the wind
It stuck to me and became my name.

As days rolled into nights
And nights to dawn,
Those around eat; I do same
They cover their nakedness; I follow suit

"You are becoming a nuisance at home" mother said
Its high time you started school!
Gradually, I started
From kindergaten, off to nursery
Primary down to secondary
Ah!!!
Now in the tertiary
Its been awesome all together.

Now I am here
But I'm so stereotyped
Lectures! Reading! Sleeping! Playing! Fellowshipping!

Is this really the way it ought to be?
Do I really ought to be called this?
Do I have to eat?
Do I have to clothe?

Oh! My God
Do I really have to go to school?
Well, its the same trend everyone follows
I find myself in it and follow
Now I am on the search and I gallow
To answer the question; who really am I?

Myself, my purpose, my everything.
Its either now or never!!!
