FEAR

The fear of failure; a mutual feature shared by everyone irrespective
of class, standard, ability etc. This natural phenomenon from
inception dwells in man.
As babes, these we all encountered:

The fear before the crawl
The fear before the stand
The fear before the step
The fear before the staggering
And lastly, the fear before the walk.

One beauty in all of these is that the child always overcomes the
fear. It hereby presents a recap of a man's childhood days as a
laughter instigator. As grown up's it is needful that while we
encounter challenges a recap be drawn so as for us to learn from our
past experience(s).

"The fear before the boy is that which makes him a man today". This
maxim however depicts life complexity.
No pain no gain
No price no rise
And even after the rise "with great power comes great responsibility".

This implies that in every stage of our lives we sure will face
challenge(s). Nevertheless, challenge(s) are not meant to dissuade us
from pursuing our goals and living our dreams. They are what I call
stepping stones which unveils the next phase of life's complexity.

However, a hypothetical view of person or persons who have as a result
of their fears relented, relaxed and retreated in the race to
achieving set goals and fulfilling destiny is quite alarming,
discouraging and dissatisfactory.
Someone once defined life as the survival for the fittest. The status
quo of been fit can never be achieved or attained until a man takes
the bull by the horn.
There comes a time in a man's life when he has to decide whether or
not his fears to face. His decision at this point is that which
actually defines him.

A word of advice to as many who have as a result of challenges and
difficulties strayed off life's track "look back! Learn from a child,
how through processes his fears he conquers".
Also note that you won't always win at first attempt. Remember" the
journey to the top is not an event but a process".
